Honey, Lemon and Ginger Cough Drop

The Cough Drop is made of simple ingredients to aid in soothing sore throats. Honey has many health benefits. It is rich in antioxidants and is a healthier alternative to sugar.


• 5 tbsp Honey

• 2 tsp Coconut Oil

• 1/2 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice

• 1 1/2 tsp Grated Fresh Ginger

Combine the ingredients into a pot, that is on medium heat on the stove. Remove the pot every 2 to 3 minutes once you notice bubbles forming. Whisk the mixture for 15 seconds to remove the bubbles. Once the mixture darkens, place the mixture in a silicon mold or on slightly greased wax paper to cool. Suck on them or add to a cup of boiling water when you have a sore throat.
