Khayelitsha records first Covid-19 case

CAPE TOWN- The Western Cape Government has confirmed that Khayelitsha has registered it's first Covid-19 infection.

Currently, there are 310 coronavirus cases throughout the Western Cape.

The Department of Health announced that the first Covid-19 related death was recorded on Friday. The patient was a 48-year-old female who was suffering from a pulmonary embolism which is an underlying disease.
