CAPE TOWN - South Africa now has recorded 82 more Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 15 168, while infections are at 642 431, an increase of 1 990.
Of the latest fatalities, 27 are from Gauteng, 5 from the Eastern Cape, 22 from the Western Cape, 8 from Free State, 10 from North West and 10 from KwaZulu-Natal.
Health minister Zweli Mkhize said the total number of recoveries is 569 935, which translates to a recovery rate of 88,7%.
