CAPE TOWN - South Africa now has recorded 97 more Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 15 265, while infections are at 644 438, an increase of 2 007.
Of the latest fatalities, 21 are from Gauteng, 7 from the Eastern Cape, 6 from the Western Cape, 4 from Free State, 15 from North West, 1 from Limpopo, 26 from Mpumalanga and 17 from KwaZulu-Natal.
Health minister Zweli Mkhize said the total number of recoveries is 573 003, which translates to a recovery rate of 88,9%.
