When news of American Horror Story actress Sarah Paulson's relationship with Holland Taylor broke, critics were quick to jump on the 32-year age difference.
Paulson fiercely defended her romance, by describing Taylor as "spectacular".
Speaking to Modern Luxury about their relationship, Sarah said: "If anyone wants to spend any time thinking I'm strange for loving the most spectacular person on the planet, then that's their problem. I'm doing just fine."
The couple began dating in 2015 after first meeting at a dinner party about 10 years ago. So why the massive interest now?

"I'm with a much older person and people find that totally fascinating and odd, and, to me, it's the last interesting thing about me," she told The Edit in a previous interview.
Paulson and Taylor's romance is nothing new by Hollywood standards. Lesbian couples like Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi have smashed the taboo.
