Chrissy Teigen joked her vagina is "dead" after she tried out the v-steaming fad. The 32-year-old model said she was determined to go back to her pre-pregnancy self after the birth of her son, Miles.

Taking to Instagram, she uploaded a photograph of her squatting on a wooden bucket with a heat pad wrapped around her neck and a face mask on, and

captioned it: "Face mask / heat pad / vagina steam no I don't know if any of this works but it can't hurt right? *vagina dissolves* (sic)"

According to Bang Showbiz, fans immediately urged her not to take part in the practice because it's dangerous, to which Chrissy joked: "Too late. It's dead (sic)"

Women throughout the ages have turned to whatever means necessary to keep things tight down there. Because everyone knows after pushing out a few babies, gravity can work its course.

So this got us thinking - what other procedures are out there that women are trying to regain a "youthful" appearance?

Jada Pinkett Smith is apparently a huge fan of vaginal rejuvenation. The actress claims her vagina is 30 years younger than she is.

She revealed that after suffering from “bladder issues” she underwent the treatment, and although the procedure cleared up her condition almost immediately, she has kept up with her appointments because they make her privates feel young again.

And then there's Gwyneth Paltrow who claims putting a jade egg – a solid object about the size of a golf ball – in your vagina does wonders for your sex life.

For about R850 apiece, the jade eggs, once "the strictly guarded secret" of Chinese queens and concubines to please their emperors, would help boost your orgasm and "increase vaginal muscle tone, hormonal balance, and feminine energy in general," reads the beginning of an article titled Better Sex: Jade Eggs For Your Yoni.
