Brave makeup lovers take to Instagram for the #ElevatorMakeupChallenge

Do you think you have a speedy makeup routine and don’t have a shy bone in your body?  These brave makeup lovers thought so.

When the owner of Huda Beauty cosmetic range, Huda Kattan, stepped into an elevator and finished a full glam makeup look (including lashes) from the ground to the top floor of an office building, a new Instagram challenge was born.

But this wasn’t just any challenge. Going through with this challenge gained you entry into an amazing competition. The winner can walk away with a $5000 (about R65,000) cash scholarship for makeup training or a makeup kit.

🚨 COMPETITION ALERT 🚨 OK Guys! So I loooove challenges and I thought it would be so much fun to create one in an Elevator!! So here it is...I recently challenged myself to do a FULL face of makeup, literally - from 0 to 100, while taking the elevator to our offices. Surprisingly, I kinda did it WITH lashes! So here it is!! We are offering a $5000 cash scholarship to one lucky winner for a makeup training, makeup kit, (whatever you want)! The instructions are simple: 1️⃣ You need to complete your full face makeup in time (from bottom to top floor), you and your friend can film it. 2️⃣ Upload your video to INSTAGRAM using hashtag #ElevatorMakeupChallenge between July 18th and July 27th closing 23:59 (GMT) I’ll be choosing three finalists, who you’ll get the chance to vote for on our blog www.hudabeauty.com on 30th & 31st July The finalist’s video with the most votes will win the giveaway. 🚨 ELEVATOR CHALLENGE 🚨 OK Guys! #elevatormakeupchallenge @hudabeauty Honey now that was a challenge 😵❤ . I have so many captions like... when you go from looking like 12 to 21... or when your mom knows more about filming than you do.. when you wonder what the mayor thought the moment he came in... 😂 . . When the elevator doesn't have enough buttons so you set a time limit to few mins😭 I usually take up to 2h for a full glam and this was way too hectic I could barely blend out my contour !! 😫 on a sidenote I want to remind everyone who doesnt dare going out without makeup, always remember that you are beautiful JUST the way you look. The #ElevatorMakeupChallenge ! I’ve never experienced heart burn.... Until this very day 😂😂😂 It was probably the wings I ate. who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️ But man was my heart was racing!! My picky/perfectionist side got the best of me a few times during this challenge. But I forced myself to put it aside for the sake of time and that was the hardest part. @hudabeauty Thank you for creating this challenge!
