Kim Kardashian West has admitted she is "so insecure" about her body and suffers from body dysmorphia (A mental illness involving obsessive focus on a perceived flaw in appearance).
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star admits she was devastated when she saw unflattering pictures of herself on holiday in Mexico and confessed the reaction to the pictures ruined her whole holiday.
She said: "You take pictures and people just body shame you. It's like literally giving me body dysmorphia ... I don't get it, I literally don't look like this. Like, I'm so insecure, I just can't take it. If they're not perfect, people body shame you and criticise you ... for people to think that that's OK is so frustrating. I'm going to literately go inside and start untagging myself in everything. I can't have fun after seeing those pictures, there's other pictures where I look so good and it's just from a different angle."
And the 36-year-old television personality admits the comments about the pictures "hurt her soul".
Speaking to her friend Jonathan Cheban on the family's E! reality show, she added: "I always have cellulite on one thigh, and I try and cover it. I was so upset, that's just not what I look like. It can really hurt your soul if you hear enough bad things about you."
Kim has always worked hard to maintain a good body and puts it down to eating and exercising right.
Sharing her exercise and diet tips, she said: "I think if you just really stay motivated and focused, the Atkins diet was so easy for me because there's so many sweets and treats that keep you satisfied along the way ...
"My sisters are really into working out right now. So when you have a good support system and you all want to just get it together ... Kanye is super into working out. It just makes it easy."
