SA beauties to shine during international pageant season

There are hundreds of beauty contests being held annually around the world but there are only four that are considered the most prestigious - "The Big Four" 

These are the most popular pageants and consists of the four major international beauty pageants for women: Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss Earth and Miss International.

Here are the dates for the international pageant season.

Miss Earth 2019 

Miss Earth 2019 will be crowned on October 26  and will be held in the Philippines. 

South Africa will be represented by Miss Earth South Africa 2018 Nazia Wadee.

Miss International 2019 

Miss International 2019 will be held on November 12 at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Bunkyo district. 

Nicole Middleton will represent South Africa in Tokyo.

Miss Universe 

The pageant will take place on December 8, and the host country is yet to be announced. 

Miss South Africa 2019 Zozibini Tunzi will represent the country at the global beauty competition.

Miss World

Miss World 2019 returns to London on December 14 for the pageant's 69th year.

Miss South Africa 2019 runner-up Sasha-Lee Olivier will be heading to London to take part in the 2019 Miss World competition.
