Every woman needs a good white t-shirt in their wardrobe and slogan t-shirts are all the rage right now - so when Bonang Matheba announced that she had partnered with Spree to launch an exclusive t-shirt range of her own, her fans went crazy.

The slogan t-shirts have phrases “Give The People What They Want”, “Mo'Ghel” and #iambonang printed in black on plain white.

The collection means a lot to me and embodies all that which I want my fans to feel: a sense of community; a celebration of their own achievements and; aspiration to be the best version of oneself,” Bonang said about the collaboration with Spree.

Her fans, on the other hand, are not willing to pay R400 for a plain white t-shirt as “a celebration of their own achievements”.

Yep. That’s right. R400! That’s how much you’ll have to cough up to own one of the Queen B’s t-shirts.

Fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment and outrage against the overpriced t-shirts.

Bonang thinks all her fans are as successful as she is. R400 is too much for a T-shirt especially in winter. Summer clothes are cheap in winter. pic.twitter.com/rTfQaCdG7q
