When women work, the economy grows. South Africa is full of women that have the potential to join the workforce, contribute positively to the success of their households and build independence for themselves. But they need your help to make the right first impression.

Your pre-loved blazers, blouses, trousers and other professional attire could give another woman the confidence to enter or return to the workplace, make a great first impression and land a job that could change her life.

“Clothing collected from the event will be contributed to the Dress for Success Suiting Program. Getting involved is not only easy but also an opportunity for you to make a lasting difference in the lives of women and in your community” Tiara Pathorn, Executive Director of Dress for Success SA.

Tiara is a certified Neuro-Linguistic Life (NPL) Coach and uses her knowledge and experience to empower people. Her passion is to create opportunities for historically disadvantaged women. Tiara has spent the past 19 years working in various Human Resource roles in a myriad of industries from huge global companies to local start up organisations.

Today, Tiara is the Executive Director of Dress for Success Cape Town (DFS), an affiliate of an international non-profit who has a presence in 145 cities around the globe. She applied for this affiliation in 2010, and has spent 7 years convincing the Global Office why it is so important to start an affiliate in Cape Town.

She believes true transformation begins with assisting and allowing people from all walks of life to reach their full potential.
