South African fashion designer, David Tlale is set to jet off to New York City tomorrow.
This is not just a regular trip and since he’ll be in the city that never sleeps where New York Fashion Week is also happening, that means our favourite designer will also jump on the opportunity to show to the world what South Africa is made of.
Tlale will be presenting his capsule collection in a unique, street runway show.
“More than anything else, this collection is just to say to the fashion community, we are still here and we are still growing as a brand.
Instead of just going to New York, we decided to use my passion of fashion to be part of the entertainment while we’re in New York,” says Tlale.
Tlale will also be joined by Africa’s most loved fashion slayer, Bonang Matheba and one of the GQ 2017 best-dressed men, Anatii, who will also be celebrating the Courvoisier moments.
New York Fashion Week takes place from September 6 until the 14th.
