An empowering time for women, the notion of female fortitude is iterated in the return of strong silhouettes in First Edition.

Statement shoulders are featured within tops and roll neck knits, whilst form and function is key in tailored blazers, Milano knit pencil skirts and dresses, cue a seductive off-shoulder hounds-tooth midi dress.

Furthering the references to the retro era, the iconic punchy magenta and deep bottle green colour palette can be seen in new updated pieces. A split knit midi skirt and satin finish ruched, voluminous sleeve blouse hero the season’s bold rosy hue.

Revisiting the ubiquitous cardigan trend of the 80’s, a billowing belted knit cardi in a cotton-wool blend is stylish and soft for urban or relaxed settings, easily worn with denim to check miniskirts.

Floral shirt paired with jeans, dark olive trench coat and black heels. Picture: Supplied.

Bold coloured separates are accompanied by new signature patterns featuring on both tops and bottoms; a small-scale hounds tooth, updated heritage check and a dramatic white floral print against an emerald background are easily outfitted and coordinated within the collection.

Continuing the colour explosion, accessories add the perfect finishing touches to outfitting in fuchsia and black. Suede leather slouch boots and tassel earrings put a final trend-driven stamp on ensembles, whilst the collections signature botanical print has been transferred on to silk neck chiefs.

Iconic, powerful and undeniably directional, Witchery’s First Edition has taken style cues from a bygone era, but puts the Witchery woman ahead of the fashion curve.
