The collection is made up of unbeatable wardrobe essentials that can be stashed in a weekender for an on-the-fly getaway, to be dressed up from basic to extra within split seconds.

The result is one of the most inspiring collections yet – a contemporary take on the unaffected swagger and authentic, languid cool that typified 1970s

streetwear. Think Almost Famous meets GIRLS, only with way less drama and plenty of reimagined, urban-adapted wardrobe staples.

Man, oh man

The key elements of the AW18 menswear range are wintery textures and bold colours, underpinned by perennial denim classics, as well as re-imagined

pieces with on-trend washes and contemporary silhouettes. Expect a fresh denim look with a cleaner rinse wash that can be worn with a turn up and matching trucker jacket for added edge.

Girls will be girls

The AW18 ladieswear range mixes urban casual items with contemporary interpretations of iconic 70s pieces – think Jane Birkin meets Francois Hardy.

This includes wide-leg dungarees, a Sherpa-lined denim trucker jacket, fluffy knitwear and jackets, velvet and a dash of monochrome stripes.

The colour

palette also has a retro feel and includes vibrant yellows, mustards, bold reds and forest greens offset by dusty pinks, greys and indigo blues. Bold basics are the name of the game, with intricate details like bell sleeves, pretty frills and interesting colour combinations setting it apart.

Put your foot in it

The Old Khaki AW18 shoe game is strong. Boots will always be an essential to complete any winter wardrobe, but this season there are plenty of sneakers

and shoes to go around. The men’s range includes sneakers in low tops and boot style, Flyknit-style sneakers, and a wide variety of lace-up Derby boots.

Look out for the Demsey Italian suede lace-up and Kendrick tumbled leather variations. On the ladies’ side of things, boots rule the roost. The Rare Earth

Alexi combat boots take a firm style stand, while the Rare Earth Brody challenges the norm with some serious hardware. Coming to suede, the Saskia, Lenah, Sloane and Roxy cover all your bases.

All the bells and whistles

Running with the 70s theme, faux fur is back. Indulge in fluffy throws, wrap up warm in oversized scarves and top it all off with lashings of deeply-hued

leather. Pops of deep golden yellow and berry-toned reds feature throughout, with fresh design details that delight at every turn.
