Priyanka Chopra is the new global brand ambassador for the hair care company Pantene, and has admitted she is "thrilled" to be representing the label.

The 34-year-old actress has been announced as the new face of the hair care brand and is set to star in the company's Strong is Beautiful campaign, which will go live on December 26 in America.

Speaking about her latest venture, the brunette beauty said: "I am very happy to be the new Pantene World Ambassador. Pantene is a beloved brand all over the world, I'm thrilled that she defends and celebrates the beauty of strength."
And the star has revealed it was a "very easy" decision to agree to partner with the longstanding company.
She explained: "I firmly believe that we must put forward the strength that each woman has in her, which made my decision to associate with Pantene very easy. Like me, the brand is convinced that there is beauty in strength and that every woman deserves magnificent moments to go to the end of her dreams and be dazzling."

Alongside an image of Priyanka from the campaign, which was posted on Pantene's Instagram account, it read: "Actress, philanthropist, and now Pantene's Global Ambassador! Say hello to the gorgeous @PriyankaChopra! Her strength and confidence inspires us, as well as women around the world. She'll be taking over our Twitter tomorrow so stop by and say hello! #StrongIsBeautiful."

Meanwhile, Priyanka has revealed she enjoys washing her hair on a daily basis because she "loves" the feeling of "fresh hair".
Speaking previously about her beauty routine, she said: "I wash my hair nearly every day now, because I love the feeling of fresh hair, I've always loved that. Even when it's two days old or one day old it starts feeling really grimy and I hate my hair like that."
