We chat to Grant Brown, Managing Director of Zando.co.za
1. How does Zando cater to fashion enthusiasts from all walks of life?
Most definitely in our product assortment, we offer over 550 brands to our customers across a wide variety of fashion desires.

2. Zando is South Africa's largest online retail fashion store, why do you think that is?
Not only do we offer the widest portfolio of product but this is resonated in our payment offering we realise customer needs and why we are the only online fashion retailer offering Cash on Delivery.
Further we offer extensive delivery options where you can select 3-hour delivery, Next Day and Express and we'll even deliver to you after hours or on weekends.
It is about catering for the needs of the consumer and ensuring you delivery on those.

4. Zando has won awards such as the best shopping process, best customer service and runner up for the best e-commerce website at the e-commerce awards, how does Zando plan to uphold the standard that they've establish within the Zando customers?
Zando is entirely focused on customer experience we adopt a Kaizen approach to all the touch points with our customers where they are constantly reviewed and improved.
This is installed in our values we put a lot of emphasis on these with our team who are our most important assets.
5. What is one of your most memorable experiences you've had as the Managing Director of Zando and how long have you been with the brand?
The evolution of our operations, we started picking from boxes with excel printed sheets to now running a fully paperless environment.
Since the beginning, I joined the company 2 weeks after we had launched and as clichéd as it may sound I still have the same amount of drive and excitement 5 years down the line.
6. How do you handle being in an industry that is continually evolving and adapting base on the development of technology?
This is tackled in two parts, we have experts working in all the relevant fields and they are constantly monitoring and implementing changes accordingly.
Second part is that we form part of the Jumia Group and there is a strong element of knowledge sharing between all the ventures ensuring we adopt best practices.

8. Name one fashion malfunction you've experienced?
Attending a formal event and upon removing my jacket realising my crisply ironed white shirt had in fact a permanently burnt in iron imprint on the back of it.
