2017/2018’s summer fashion in South Africa has been all about including shoes that are either brightly coloured, pastel coloured; sporty or classic in one’s wardrobe.

The new year brought four different shoes for both men and women, that can either work for an evening cocktail function, a chilled day at the market, or having sunset drinks against the backdrop of Table Mountain.

Sneaker magic

Summer is always about bright, bold colours that grabs attention or co-ordinates well with your outfit, and sneakers never fail in complimenting outfits.

The sneaker collaboration, Converse x Golf Le Fleur* was created by Converse and hip-hop artist Tyler, the Creator, and the collection boasts a number of bold, pastel coloured sneakers that can be rocked by men and women.

Minimalism

Block heels are not only stylish, but they are also comfortable, whether you work a 9 to 5 job, go out on a date or hit the club. Block heels are a classic style that works great for an outfit with a minimalist taste, and can come in various styles such as the low mule, knee-high boots, or strappy heel that cater to everyone.

Flatforms

The hybrid shoe that was built for style and comfort can be the easiest shoe to style an outfit with, and have no worries about painful feet by the time you sit down. Brands like Mr Price, Topshop and Steve Madden create stylish shoes in bright colours whether as sneakers or sandals, like this blue velvet flatform by Superga.
