4th Street Wines, the official headline sponsor of the first ever 'Project Runway South Africa' television series, recently hosted the Cape Town edition of the  4th Street Wines takeovers.

The 4th Street Wines takeovers are design events, hosted across the country ahead of the airing of Project Runway South Africa.

Twelve design students customised a mystery item and competed for the 4th Street takeover winning title, in pure Project Runway fashion.

“I’m so excited to be part of an event that combines two of my favourite things, fashion and  4th Street Wines. Winning this event has given me the confidence to go further and hopefully one day, partake in the Project Runway competition,” says Jo-Mare Jacobs, winner of the 4th Street Wines takeover.
