Like any other hair, dreadlocks maintenance is important. To keep your dreadlocks healthy, you have to go for a treatment at least every after 2 weeks. This not only helps with keeping the hair nourished but it boosts growth as well.
First things first, you need to wash your dreads. Not with just any shampoo but one that is suitable for your hair. For example, if your scalp is too oily, you need to use a shampoo that will reap off that oiliness and balance it well.

We all know that dreadlocks are well styled when still wet. After you’ve washed it, you then use molding cream to twist them. This means you’re keeping the growth in tact by only twisting from the roots.
After you’ve twisted all the dreadlocks, you can then style as desired. Just be careful not to make the style too tight as that might result in discomfort.
