Both established and up and coming fashion designers had the opportunity to showcase their latest collections at the Fashion and All that Jazz Gala Dinner held at the CTICC on Thursday evening.

In association with the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, Wear South African, an initiative by the Southern African Clothing and Textile Workers Union (SACTWU) created a platform to promote the local design and manufacturing sector.

Designers such as Magents, Blue Collar White Collar, X94, Democracy of Denim and Isabella De Villiers proved once again that local is indeed lekke. Have a look at what the proudly South African designers had to show.

The theme for this year’s gala dinner is “Sophiatown” and as usual guests were encouraged to not only dress up but to Wear SA. Attendees went out of their way to get the look. Here are a few of our favourite looks on the night.
