Gents are your blue and white outfits ready for this weekend's L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate Racing Festival?

Taking place at the Kenilworth Racecourse on Friday and Saturday, the event is the continent’s oldest race day, dating back to 1861. Last year it became South Africa’s first multi-day racing festival in the mould of famous international racing festivals such as Royal Ascot, Qatar Glorious Goodwood and the Kentucky Derby.

LQP is one of the most stylish social events on the Cape Town calendar and guests are expected to dress the part. Blue and white is the theme and attendees are requested to comply with this strict dress code.

Even though the ladies tend to take centre stage in beautiful outfits and outrageous headpieces it doesn't mean that the guys can't step up onto the same stage!

Here are a few looks for the guys to draw inspiration from to up their blue and white LQP style game.
