Mzansi’s most prestigious event, South African Style Awards will see the country's fashion and style elite come together to celebrate the most stylish personalities. 

Taking place at the Diamond Walk in Sandton City on November 18, this anticipated event will commemorate its 22nd anniversary in a futuristic way-bringing out all the “ avid diva” in SA's A-Listers. 

The SA Style Awards are a showcase of style and business innovators, that continue to elevate the benchmark for excellence. Every year, hand-picked sponsors and judges nominate their deserving choices across nine different categories, honouring individuals who have made an indelible mark. 

Here are the most stylish individuals in SA. 

Most Innovative Style: Sho Madjozi

Maya Wegerif, popularly known by her stage name, Sho Madjozi is a musician and poet. The 26-year-old who is set to perform at the Global Citizen Festival in December 2018 is known for the African authentic style that takes pride in the Tsonga culture.

Most Stylish Performing Artist in Film or TV: Linda Mtoba

Linda Mtoba is an actress who rose to fame after being cast as Zama on the award-winning Mzansi Magic series, Isibaya. She is currently acting on 'The River' as the character Nomonde.

Most Stylish Performing Artist in Music: Dj Zinhle

Ntombezinhle Jiyane, aka DJ Zinhle, is a club DJ and founder of FUSE Academy (FUSE), a deejaying academy for females. She is also the local celebrity partner of Prive Revaux and owner of Era by DJ Zinhle, an accessories brand that specialises in watches and bracelets.

Sarah Langa is a fashion and lifestyle blogger as well as the IT Girl within the fashion industry. She is a brand influencer for Scotch and Soda South Africa and Dolce and Gabbana.

Most Stylish Designer (Fashion and Interior): Rich Mnisi (Fashion), Gregor Jenkin (Design)

Rich Mnisi is a fashion designer who breeds new layers and visions inspired by sources outside of the realm of fashion, including film, music, art and nature. He is popular in  African fashion weeks, including Lagos Fashion Week where he recently showcased.

Gregor Jenkin is an interior designer who is the first African designer to feature at Design Miami. Some of his work is at The Philadelphia Museum of Art and has had a solo showcase at the Southern Guild.

Most Stylish Model: Ansolet Rossouw

Ansolet Rossouw is SA's top model who has modelled for almost all the Haute Couture shows names including Valentino, Chanel official and Dolce Gabbana.

The Madida’s are one of the most popular couples in Mzansi. They’re dominant in the music industry as Nandi is a singer/songwriter while Zakes is also a singer and a producer.

Zangewa is a local artist with international recognition. She has showcased at International exhibitions, including at the Paris Art Fair at the Grand Palais
