Yesterday (26/7/2018) the royal couple, newly-wedded Prince Harry and Meghan Duchess of Sussex, were at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club, a short drive from Windsor Castle, for the annual match in aid of the prince’s charity, Sentebale, which supports the mental health and wellbeing of vulnerable young people affected by HIV in southern Africa.

Despite the glaring heat, Meghan looked decidedly cool in an outfit worth an eye-watering £3,912 (about R68000)

Her dress was a Fifties-style denim-look Carolina Herrera number with £2,357 price tag (about R41000).

She teamed the wasp-waisted outfit – reminiscent of Christian Dior’s early ‘new look’ pieces – with a £75 (R1300) J Crew fan rattan clutch, matching one often carried by the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister Pippa.

She completed the look with £510 (R9000) Aquazzura Deneuve Bow muted pink suede pumps. Her glasses were cat-eye acetate and gold-tone by Tom Ford costing £220 (R4000), and her earrings a pair of blue topaz and diamond Bee Chic by Birks worth £750 (R13000).
