The National Fashion Industry Consumer Transformation Agency, together with the City of Tshwane, Menlyn Park Shopping Centre and Gauteng Tourism Authority hosted the first Menlyn Fashion Experience.
The fashion experience, which took place on November 10, brought together fashion designers from young up-and-coming to established designers. A total of 28 designers showcased including international designer David Tlale, together with Orapeleng Modutle, Izak Uys, Tshepo Ngobeni, Mantsho, House of Sarah, Claudine Uys, Christopher Fivaz, Clouds X Pabalelo Mashabela, Scalo, Losmeicherie, Magents, I Just Am, Keletso Maraba, Thunderstorm, House Of JM Designs, Lindo : Sovereign Label and White Collar headlined the shows Emerging designers from Tshwane were given an opportunity to receive training on how they can access the industry.
