International brand Diesel has partnered with AGV, which has been in the motorcycle helmet business for more than 60 years, to create a "designer" helmet, inspired by helicopters and dedicated to brand bunnies and lifestyle riders everywhere.
The design of the Hi-Jack is derived from real helicopter pilots' helmets, for riders who insist on a quality product with typically unconventional Diesel styling.
The Diesel team has created a range of colour and graphic variations in black, white, green, grey, chrome and gold, while AGV supplied the curved polycarbonate visors with non-scratch treatment in transparent, smoke and silver - which are easily interchangeable without tools.
The Hi-Jack helmet is all about attention to detail, from its hand-laid Fibreglass shell to internal padding in removable and machine-washable fabric.
It'll be availabe from AGV distributors around the world early in July, with European prices starting from €200 (R2000). Previous experience suggests you can just about double that for South Africa and, if you want one, you'll have to ask your local AGV retailer to order it.
