It could have been a scene from a typical truck-stop cafe of the 1960s, as leather-clad Britbike riders and their pillions played it fashionably cool - but it wasn't; it was 2011 in Cape Town. Seventeen Triumphs - more than half of them Bonnevilles - turned out for the inaugural Riders Association of Triumph 4B's evening at Simply Good Food in Bree Street.
