New York Ferrari enthusiast Peter Kalikow has just taken delivery of this one-off Ferrari Superamerica 45, designed, styled and built in-house at Maranello to commemorate the 45th anniversary of Kalikow's first Ferrari - how's that for brand loyalty?

The new car will make its public debut on May 20 at the Villa d'Este Concorso d'Eleganza before being shipped to the US.

It has a carbon-fibre rotating hard-top that incorporates the rear window, and a special streamlined, carbon-fibre boot lid to house the roof when it's open. The rear buttresses are body coloured, integral with the rear wheel-arches, and incorporate small rear windows.

There are double air vents on each front wing, a custom, chromed grille and special polished-aluminium A pillars, wing mirrors and door handles.

Kalikow's unique Superamerica 45 is finished in a special blue to match another car in his collection - a 1961 400 Superamerica cabriolet.

The wheels are body-colour, with a contrasting diamond finish on the spokes while the roof and other carbon-fibre sections - front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser - are in a special contrasting darker blue, as are the carbon-fibre interior trim elements.

The interior has been custom-trimmed in dark blue carbon fibre and selected Cuoio leather, with a state-of-the-art touch-screen infotainment system.
