Bensheim, Germany - In what is turning out to be a gradual teaser campaign ahead of the grand reveal in Frankfurt next month, and following the release of the first official image late last month, Suzuki has shared some additional pics of its all-new Swift Sport.

Though we don’t get to see the full rear end as yet (although one of the teaser pics does show the integrated exhaust pipes), Suzuki has revealed the interior, with pictures of the full dashboard and the sports seats, which have race-style integrated headrests.

The Sport is set apart by plenty of red trim and a flat-bottomed steering wheel, and as with its humbler Swift siblings, there’s a new touchscreen infotainment system to keep with the tech times.

Still no official word on what’s under the bonnet, but the automotive paparazzi have all but confirmed that it will be powered by a version of Suzuki’s new 1.4-litre 'Boosterjet' turbopetrol engine, which will certainly offer more power than today’s 100kW 1.6-litre normally aspirated engine, given that 1.4T Vitaras abroad are tuned to 103kW.

Certainly the increased power and torque, along with the car’s expected weight loss, will make it a lot faster, although some rev-heads will no doubt miss the high-revving nature of the current normally aspirated engine.

Watch this space for official details when Suzuki finally spills the beans on its cheeky new hatch.

And we’ll let you know when they unveil the tyre caps. Or maybe not.
