Maranello - Only in the world of Ferrari can a car be sold out before it's even been revealed to the public and that is certainly the case with the open-top version of the LaFerrari.

If you are part of a small elite circle of multi-gazzilionaire Ferrari clients and collectors who were invited to buy this new Ferrari, then you would already have seen this gorgeous new creation during a special preview. If not, then this will be the first time you're seeing the open-top La Ferrari and, oh, you can't have one.

Ferrari will only reveal it in the flesh at the Paris Motor Show in late September and we'll have to wait until then to find out all the technical details but Ferrari has divulged that, as expected, it has exactly the same hybrid powertain as its tin-top sibling that was revealed three years ago.

The insanely potent system mates a 6262cc, 9250rpm V12 petrol engine to two electric motors for systems outputs of 708kW and over 900Nm.

Ferrari says that the open-top, which has yet to be named, will also achieve the same performance figures as its tin-top sibling the lucky few buyers will be able to launch from 0-100km/h in under three seconds and from 0-200 in less than seven!

But then they would have already told you that at the special preview event, right?
