Pearl Thusi shared an emotional encounter with a fan on social media when she visited Mangosuthu University of Technology last week.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Thusi can be seen embracing a young fan who cried when she had the opportunity to meet the actress.
Thusi then expressed her appreciation for her "CUBZ". She wrote: "I just wanna put this out there...CUBZ - I don’t take your love for granted...
"It’s moments of vulnerability that really show strength. With you and God, I’m stronger.
"Thank you for loving me with my many imperfections and with no promise that I’ll always make you proud. It doesn’t go unnoticed. Promise"
Thusi added that explained she doesn't know to react to "pure emotion" because the industry has forced her to always keep her guard up and thanked her fan for melting her icy wall.

Fellow local celebs, Basetsane Kumalo and Unathi showed their love for her post, with Thusi telling her friend Basi: "I only reflect what you’ve given me for so many years".
However, her followers were more impressed by Hollywood star, Gabrielle Union, liking her post. One user wrote: Whaaaat liked by @gabunion yooooh Mama Panther you goals (sic)
