Mogadishu - A suicide car bomber killed at least eight people
in Somalia's capital Mogadishu, police said on Sunday.
At least 10 others were wounded when the bomb exploded in front of a
building housing government officials in Hawlwadaag district on
Sunday morning, police officer Ali Hassan Kulmiye told dpa.
Most victims were civilians, according to Kulmiye.
Islamist terrorist group al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the
attack via pro-insurgent radio station Andalus.
The group is affiliated with the international al-Qaeda terrorist
network and launches regular attacks within the volatile East African
nation.
