Iranian TV journos arrested in Libya

A news team from Iran's English-language news network Press TV has been arrested in Libya, the network said on its website Friday.

Reporter Nicholas Davies and cameraman Gareth Montgomery-Johnson were arrested by the Misrata brigade on Thursday and taken to a prison in the capital Tripoli, Press TV said.

The network gave no further details on the detained reporters who are believed to be Britons.

Press TV employs several foreign reporters and stringers as part of its international media network. - Sapa-dpa
