Windhoek - A group of Unita members on Thursday attacked a Namibian police special field force (SFF) camp at Bush Baby, 10km east of the Divundu check point, the Namibian Press Agency reported on Friday.

Kavango regional army commander Lieutenant Colonel Bernard Nkawa said eight armed Unita rebels attacked the camp after 11pm.

Nobody was killed or seriously injured.

Nkawa said four other rebels stole 16 cattle from nearby villagers while the others attacked the camp. They then fled in the direction of Angola with the cattle.

He said Namibian Defence Force members were searching for the men. - Sapa
