King William's Town – King William’s Town police are requesting community assistance to help identify an unknown man whose body was found floating in a river in the town on Saturday. 

The dead man was estimated to be about 35 years old. 

He was found floating in the Buffalo River in King William’s Town at about 10am on Saturday morning, Captain Jackson Manatha said. "An inquest docket has been opened for further investigation. 

"Anyone who is looking for his/her relative can please contact King William’s Town police station on 043-6040-117 to identify the deceased," he said.
