DURBAN - The Covid-19 pandemic has seen many capitalists raise their prices due to a greater demand of goods. Bearing that in mind, we found it helpful if we could shop as little as possible while still accomplishing our daily tasks.
Making its rounds on social media was a DIY washing powder hack. Here’s how you can make your own washing powder as well. You will need:
A bar of washing soap (Sunlight)
20L bucket
Serrated spoon or punched with holes.
A grater.
A kettle
The method is fairly simple and can be done by anyone. Admittedly, it will not last as long as your normal detergent but we are washing clothes at a more frequent rate because we are tied up at home 24/7.
