Port Elizabeth - A man has been arrested for allegedly killing his colleague in Zwide, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape police said on Wednesday.

The 35-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday after he allegedly shot dead his colleague at a municipal swimming pool where they both worked, Warrant Officer Dumile Gwavu said.

A 31-year-old man was watering the grass when his colleague allegedly shot him four times.

The motive for the killing was not known. The man would appear in court soon.
