Cape Town - British businessman Shrien Dewani, accused of murdering his wife Anni during their Cape Town honeymoon, is expected back in the Western Cape High Court on Thursday.
His formal admissions on Wednesday showed his computer was logged on to a male gay website hours after his wife's body was found.
In the document obtained on Wednesday, Dewani confirmed he registered for the “Gaydar” website and “Recon”, a website for men into fetish gear, in 2004. His username for both sites was “ASIANSUBGUY”.
He admitted his computer was logged on to Gaydar in the early hours of the morning on November 15, 2010.
Anni Dewani's body was found in their hijacked shuttle taxi early on November 14, 2010.
Dewani also admitted that his computer was logged on to Gaydar while waiting with Anni for their flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town on November 12, 2010.
He deactivated both accounts on November 21, 2010.
Dewani pleaded not guilty on Monday to killing his wife in Cape Town in 2010, and other related charges.
He is charged with murder, kidnapping, robbery with aggravating circumstances, and conspiracy to commit these crimes. He is also charged with defeating the ends of justice.
On the first day of his trial, Dewani said in his plea explanation that he was bisexual and had had sexual interactions with both men and women.
He met Anni on May 30, 2009, after a mutual friend gave him her contact details.
