Johannesburg - The ANC has appointed Zizi Kodwa as new national spokesman following Jackson Mthembu’s move to the National Assembly, the party said in a statement.

“Comrade Zizi Kodwa who had been sworn in as a Member of Parliament resigned today so that he can assume his new responsibility from today,” ANC deputy secretary general Jessie Duarte said.

“The ANC is confident that his acquired knowledge and application of communication skills will assist the ANC in its engagement with its stakeholders who are the public, the media and civil society,” she said. - IOL
