The ANC has recalled chief whip Mathole Motshekga, according to reports.
Former Eastern Cape Education MEC Stone Sizani has been appointed to replace Motshekga.
ANC secretary general Gwede Mantashe made the announcement on Thursday in a hastily convened press conference following the party’s caucus meeting.
Sizani was, until his appointment as chief whip, chairman of Parliament's rural development and land reform oversight committee.
Motshekga is set to remain an MP. - IOL
