Cape Town - Congratulations poured in on Twitter on Friday night after EFF national spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi announced that he had been awarded a PhD in Political Studies by the University of Witwatersrand.

Ndlozi tweeted: "It is with humbling joy to receive news from @WitsUniversity that I have completed the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Politics (PhD)."

He also posted the letter from Wits' Faculty of Humanities showing that he had passed.

His party, president Julius Malema and EFF deputy president Floyd Shivambu was among those who tweeted their congratulations to Ndlozi, who is popularly known as 'The People's Bae" for his good looks and fiery speeches.
