Rustenburg - Forum 4 Service Delivery (F4SD) welcomed the deputy chief justice Raymond Zondo's announcement that the state capture commission public hearing will relocate to a new venue.

"F4SD is happy that justice Zondo has agreed that hosting the commission of inquiry at the privately owned Hill on Empire is wasteful and irregular expenditure.

F4SD has proposed in a media statement that the commission of inquiry be moved to either the Constitutional Court building, the Gauteng high court or any building owned by the state.

"This relocation move is a milestone victory to service delivery. The new venue for the Zondo Commission is the Old Johannesburg Council Chambers from 11 March when the inquiry resumes after a one week break.

"F4SD still further appeal for the release of interim or provisional report," leader Mbahare Kekana said.

Chairperson of the commission deputy chief justice Raymond Zondo on Thursday announced that the hearings would no longer be in Parktown and arrangements were being finalised for the commission to sit in the old chamber at the Johannesburg municipality.
