President Jacob Zuma has declared a Special Provincial Official Funeral for renowned anti-apartheid activist Mewallal Ramgobin, who passed away on 17 October 2016 in Cape Town.
President Zuma has also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the Ramgobin family.
The president has ordered that the flag be flown at half-mast at all stations in KwaZulu-Natal on the day of the funeral, a statement issued by the Presidency said.
The KZN provincial government will communicate details of the funeral as soon as the arrangements are in place.
