Cape Town - Capetonians marched to Parliament following the Cabinet reshuffle, demanding that President Jacob Zuma must step down.

The march was called by SaveSA as thousands made their way to Parliament.

In addition to peacefully resisting President Jacob Zuma, SaveSA also intended for protesters to speak out against the capture of the Treasury by Guptas and to #StopTheNuclearDeal.

Calls of resistance against the Cabinet reshuffle were also made by Treatment Action Campaign, Section27 and the newly-formed South African Federation of Trade Unions.

Protesters sang the national anthem as well as 'Kumbaya my Lord'.

According to a speaker at the picket, the protest will resume on Sunday at 3pm.
