Johannesburg - Thousands of Democratic Alliance supporters have started arriving at the Rand Stadium, south of Johannesburg, on Saturday morning for the launch of the DA's August 3 local government elections manifesto.
Buses and taxis were driving into the area as singing DA supporters wearing blue party T-shirts starting to make their way into the stadium.

Private security officers and DA marshals were directing supporters to their designated areas.
DA leader Mmusi Maimane was scheduled to address the crowd later on Saturday morning.
