CAPE TOWN - The body of a man was found this afternoon in the Parklands Swamp in Parklands, Western Cape.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found local authorities already in attendance.
Paramedics had to walk a short distance into the swamp where they found the patient.
Upon assessment, paramedics found that the man had sustained a large head wound and showed no signs of life. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for the man and he was declared dead.
The exact details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
