JOHANNESBURG – The body of a missing 79-year-old woman has been found in a river, Eastern Cape police said on Monday.
Captain Jackson Manatha said Sara Nothusile Sifumba went missing on August 18.
“It is alleged that Sifumba was in a traditional ceremony at Mntla locality, Kotana village, Ngqamakhwe," Manatha said.
"At about 8pm they were transported to their various homes but she never arrived home. She was wearing navy takkies, a (checked) blanket and scarf."
