Johannesburg - Police in Lephalale have opened an inquest docket after the body of a 66-year-old-man was found at Eskom's Medupi power station early Thursday.

''Mr Kim Farmer, aged 66, was found dead in Medupi power station. It is reported that the deceased was found between his car and a TLB machine that he was meant to fix. He was found lying on the ground facing up,'' said Limpopo police spokesman Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo.

An ambulance was called and he was certified dead.

Mojapelo said Farmer was employed by one of the Eskom contractors at Medupi. The cause of death is unknown.
