Cape Town - The suspected criminal known as the “Fence Ninja” must be charged, refused bail and convicted this time, anti-crime activist Yusuf Abramjee has said. This followed the arrest of the man last week after he was allegedly found in possession of an illegal firearm used during a robbery.
The suspect, a Zimbabwean national, has been linked to burglaries in Garsfontein. After his first release, residents protested.
The man was arrested a second time and again freed. “This caused an uproar. “He is now back behind bars. Perhaps the community will be third time lucky,” Abramjee said.
