Johannesburg - A man is in a critical condition after he was shot in the stomach in The Straight Road in Pineslopes in Fourways, Johannesburg on Saturday morning, paramedics said.
ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene at about 10.50am and found the man, believed to be in his late 30s, on the ground in a driveway, ER24 spokeswoman Annine Siddall said.
ER24 and medics from another emergency service treated the man and he was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care. The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not yet known, but local authorities were on [the] scene to investigate, Siddall said.
