Cape Town - Naka Drotské, the former Springbok hooker who was part of the 1995 World Cup team, is in critical condition after being wounded in a robbery at a smallholding in Pretoria.

According to News24, Drotské has lost “almost a third of his blood” after being shot three times. At the time of the robbery, Drotské was reportedly visiting family. He was wounded when he attempted to protect his relatives from the assailants.

Drotské is being treated in the intensive care unit at the Netcare Montana Hospital in Montana Park and reportedly needs to be stabilised before surgery can be performed.
